Configuring Advanced Options
The DataDirect OpenAccess Management Console can be used to set advanced options such as logging levels and restore data source defaults.
Location
The Management Console is found in the following directories:
-
32-bit driver Management Console: CygNet/Support/ODBC/bin/oaadmin81.msc
-
64-bit driver Management Console: CygNet/Support64/ODBC/admin/oaadmin81.msc
For more information about using the Management Console, refer to the OpenAccess Management Console Help located in the mmcoa.chm file in the same directory.
Logging
To view or edit the logging settings, navigate to the following path in the Management Console:
-
Manager > oaadm.ini > Services > OpenAccess_CygNet > Service Settings > Logging
By default, log files are written to the %ALLUSERSPROFILE%/CygNetOdbc(64)/Logging directory.
To change this location, double-click to edit the value of the ServiceDebugLogPath attribute. Only the 500 most recent files are retained in the logging directory. The oldest log files are deleted to make room for newer log files when necessary.
